Serangoon Sunday

It’s interesting to see how the different culture of each races in Singapore exist together.

Today, I went past little India and it was packed with foreign workers and some local as well. Don’t get me wrong here, I am totally fine with them, the purpose of this post is about how they can work in such mess!

The road was totally flooded and so is the bus I am currently on. Their culture of holding hand with the same sex is also another interesting trivial which we don’t see so often in different races.

It’s so interesting to live in Singapore :)

The terrible truth

Doesn’t life sucks with the truth being put to your face.

Something like… You’re ugly! You’re stupid! You can’t get her, you won’t make it..

Things like that is just life changing to a certain extent. People lie for all sort of reason, be it for good or bad, it still hurts.

Just a food for thought, what if my life was never the way you thought it was?

Closing down?

Nah, I won’t be closing down my blog yet but I will be redoing everything from scratch.

Life had been quite a roller coaster ride for me. The up’s and down’s which affected me till date had became memories and experience which will make me grow stronger and more mature hopefully.

I guess with so many things on hand, I won’t be that active anymore.

Till the next post. Cya.

Quick Update

Sorry for the lack of update but I’ve been going to school almost everyday from 10am till night time like 11pm.

I am currently rushing my OSIP report which is due soon and handling IITSC club stuff. It is very very rush.

I will really try my best to update my website and my blog ASAP but give me some time. :(

Happy new year

Happy new year! It’s 2010. New year, new resolution for everyone.

I am gonna change away a lot of things. This blog will undergo changes, my website as well.

I am going to change some stuff of mine as well.

Well, 2009 was quite a great year for me.

Some achievement and memory of 2009 includes,

LT head for week 0,
Awarded director list,
Elected into IITSC main committee,
Got my driving license,
Completed MP,
Went to Ireland for OSIP,
made a lot of great friends (I wish I can list it all down but if I missed out anyone, that would be disastrous)

Hopefully 2010 would be even better! :D

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

Back in singapore

Hey everyone! I am back safely at home in Singapore.

I don’t really have jet lag but because of the amount of work piling up, I just can’t put my mind to rest, so I still haven’t really gotten any proper sleep.

I miss the weather in Ireland and the people there but yet again, I feel happy seeing my family and friends again.

Today was the first day of TPCG and everything went well, thankfully.

I will update again when I have more time. :)

Last day – Sadness

In a hour time, I am leaving the house to head over to the airport and flying to Amsterdam before going back to Singapore.

It is a mixed feeling of happiness and sorrow. Happy that I can see my friends and all. Sad that I haven’t even explored much of Ireland.

But… I guess all good thing must come to an end. I will miss all the people who took care of us here. Especially my Irish Mum :)

Till I reach Singapore to update pictures and stuff. Tata!

Day 20 – The last week

This week would be the last week of me being in Ireland. Time really fled by when I am here.

We would be travelling to kikenny with Dave, our in charge at the institue of technology. Just for the day, to sight see tomorrow. We are now on the way back to Carlow from Galway, the train ride back to there is 4 hours.

It’s 5pm now and the sky is dark like 7pm in Singapore. Looking out the carriage window sets me thinking, have I bought enough present? have I enjoyed myself? was it really worth paying about 3k coming here? lots of question asking myself while looking out the window. Most of the question are quite simple and to be frank, this once in a lifetime experience is worth every cent I’ve spent here.

I still miss home and friends though. The weather here is totally different from Singapore humid weather, that’s definately one of the things I would miss greatly beside the people and culture here.

Day 17 + 18 + 19

So, some of you should had already known that my Paris trip was cancelled because of cost and time constraint. Major :( but we decided to travel within Ireland and go some sightseeing.

Caroline and many other recommended Galway or cork but Galway was a better choice, so the night before, Galway trip booking and checking!

Now I am in a pub called monroes in Galway. Just had a heninken and is now chit chatting and socializing with the others.

The trip here to Galway is quite fruitful I must say. Not much shopping because things are expensive everywhere in Europe! The pub here is delightful though. Great atmosphere with very friendly people and nice music here and there, totally different from those uncle pub in Singapore where they would have stupid karaoke or those high end pub which is serving overly priced alcohol. Here is just a plain o pub with lots of noise and lots of people, everyone is enjoying themselves and having a drink in their hand.

Food here is also great because Galway is just beside the ocean. Tonight we had fish and chips! Traditional fish and chips with salt and vinegar. Totally different from all the crap which Singapore have to offer.

We went to a tour which goes around Galway and it’s region. Very educational and interesting! The whole trip was about 8 hours? We left from our hostel at 9.40am, returned back at 5.30pm. Totally worth the 20€ we paid.

I know I haven’t been uploading photo and stuff because I wasn’t really in the mood to. Have to resize and draft out the post while I don’t really have much time because of school, kinda puts me off.

So I will try my best to upload and update those picture which are long overdue! or so I say :p
